Are Rug Weavers rugs machine washable?

Yes. Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, do not bleach, and air dry flat. Always follow the sewn care label.

Which washing machine size do I need?

As a starting point, use 7 kg+ for 60 × 100 and 80 × 150 cm; 8–9 kg+ for 100 × 200, 120 × 180 and 160 cm round; 10–12 kg+ for runners, 155 × 230 and 200 cm round; and 18 kg+ commercial capacity for 200 × 300 cm. Drum volume varies, so the folded rug must move freely. If it is tight, use a launderette or professional cleaner.

How do I choose a rug size?

Use the room illustrations beside each size on the product page. In a living room, aim to place at least the front furniture legs on the rug. Around a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table so chairs remain on the rug when pulled out.

What are the rugs made from?

The low-pile surface is woven chenille polyester. The woven cotton backing has a non-slip finish without latex, glue or rubber crumb.

Are they suitable for pets and robot vacuums?

The dense low pile is designed for everyday vacuuming, robot vacuums and homes with pets. Follow your appliance guidance and test edge clearance.

Will the colour exactly match my screen?

We keep product photography consistent, but screens and room lighting vary. Review all gallery images and colour details before ordering.
