The Botanical Collection: What It Is and Who It Suits
Share
Flower design taken from the botanical plate and the herbaceous border rather than from the Persian vine — clear, spaced and legible.
The 7 designs in this collection
They are drawn from 6 separate design sources: Freesia, Herbarium, Delphinium, Peony, Bergamot and Botanica. Each has its own article explaining where the pattern comes from and what the motifs mean.
The colours it runs in
Across the collection you will find cream & white, green & khaki, pink & fuchsia, mink & brown, blue & navy and yellow & gold. Every design is woven in all ten sizes, so the choice within a collection is purely pattern and colour.
Who it suits
Plants drawn from the page and the border. If that description fits the room you are buying for, start here rather than with the whole catalogue — 7 designs is a browsable number, 315 is not.
The construction, which is the same throughout
Chenille polyester pile on a woven cotton backing with a non-slip finish. Machine washable at 30°C, no underlay needed, no latex or rubber. The heritage is in the drawing; the construction is deliberately modern.
