Lift loose grit with low suction and no aggressive beater bar.

Blot the spill
Use cool water and a clean cloth. Blot gently—never scrub the fibres.

Wash at 30°C
Load loosely, wash alone on a gentle cycle, and use mild liquid detergent.

Keep it gentle
No bleach or fabric softener; both can alter colour and reduce grip.

Air dry flat
Reshape while damp and let it dry fully before returning it to the floor.

Match the dry weight
Fold loosely and use a machine whose stated capacity is at least the rug's dry weight.
Always check the sewn care label and your machine instructions. Wash the rug alone and never exceed the machine's stated dry-load capacity.

The low-pile chenille face and woven cotton backing are made to tolerate a gentle 30°C wash. Use mild detergent, skip bleach and softener, then air dry fully.

Choose a size that lets at least the front legs of the main seating sit on the rug. In many rooms, 155 × 230 cm or 200 × 300 cm creates the most settled arrangement.
Are low-pile rugs good for pets?
Low pile is easy to vacuum and gives claws less to catch. A washable construction also makes everyday paw marks and small accidents easier to manage.
