Linked Patina Burgundy Vintage Washable Rug

Linked Patina Burgundy Vintage Washable Rug brings a burgundy palette to a practical vintage rug. Its soft chenille-polyester face, woven cotton backing and flat, low pile suit modern homes. For shoppers comparing washable rugs in the UK, it combines detailed pattern with genuine 30°C machine-washable care.

A pattern with a story

This faded vintage composition translates a distinctive textile story into a contemporary washable rug. An attic is where the previous generation’s taste goes to wait. Things stored there come back out softened by dust and dry air, and reappraised. Dulled colour and a slightly dusty overlay across a traditional pattern. The result rewards a closer look while remaining balanced from across the room, helping the rug connect furniture without competing with it.

How to style this burgundy rug

The burgundy colourway can anchor living room, bedroom, dining room, hallway and entrance. Let the rug establish the palette, then repeat one or two quieter tones in cushions, artwork or curtains. This vintage pattern works especially well with natural timber and calm upholstery. Compare every gallery photograph in daylight and evening light, since screens and surrounding finishes can alter perceived colour.

Choose the right rug size

Sizes run from 60 x 100 cm to 200 x 300 cm, with runner formats in 80 x 300 cm and 100 x 300 cm plus round options in 160 cm round and 200 cm round. A small washable bedroom rug suits a bedside or entrance; medium formats define compact seating and dining areas. For a large living room rug, reach beneath the front legs of the principal seats. Mark the outline before ordering, then check doors and walking routes.

Machine-washable care for real homes

Vacuum with low suction and avoid a rotating beater bar. Blot spills instead of rubbing. For a full clean, fold the rug loosely, wash it alone at 30°C on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, then air dry flat. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron or use fabric softener. Match the listed dry rug weight to a machine with at least the same load capacity; the 200 × 300 cm rug weighs 9 kg.

Low-pile comfort and practical construction

The chenille-polyester face keeps the pattern clear while staying slim enough for doors, chairs and robot vacuums. A woven cotton backing provides an integrated anti-slip finish without a separate rubber crumb layer. The foldable rug is easy to move and practical around children or pets. Add a suitable rug grip wherever the floor or room conditions require more hold.
