Stratum Grey Taupe Patchwork Vavien Rug

Stratum brings grey & taupe · faded classical patchwork to your home, in the Germanica Vavien collection. Made in Türkiye and stocked at our London warehouse in three practical sizes.

The design story

Archaeologists read a site in layers, each stratum a different century pressed upon the last. Stratum lays a classical lattice — small rosettes, fine borders, a ghosted field — beneath a weathered wash of grey and taupe, so the old drawing surfaces only where the top layer has worn through. It is a contemporary rug with an antique memory: patchwork panels, faint grids and history showing through.

Styling your room
