Designs drawn from the village looms and nomad camps of Anatolia — stepped medallions, hooked borders and protective motifs, drawn freehand rather than from a cartoon.
They are drawn from 24 separate design sources: Seljuk, Nomad, Bergama, Konya, Bosphorus, Anatolia, Anatolian, Çanakkale, Aegean, Phrygian, Antalya, Pergamon, Lycian, Taurus, Bergamo, Milas, Hittite, Yörük, Aydın, Dazkırı, Ephesus, Hattusa, Fethiye and Adana. Each has its own article explaining where the pattern comes from and what the motifs mean.
Across the collection you will find blue & navy, lilac & purple, mink & brown, orange & terracotta, yellow & gold, pink & fuchsia, green & khaki, red & burgundy, black & anthracite, grey & silver and cream & white. Every design is woven in all ten sizes, so the choice within a collection is purely pattern and colour.
Village and nomad weaving from the Turkish plateau. If that description fits the room you are buying for, start here rather than with the whole catalogue — 72 designs is a browsable number, 315 is not.
Chenille polyester pile on a woven cotton backing with a non-slip finish. Machine washable at 30°C, no underlay needed, no latex or rubber. The heritage is in the drawing; the construction is deliberately modern.
